Audits

Accessibility Audits form part of a nationally recognised scheme aimed at improving accessibility for disabled people.  Our qualified Accessibility Auditors can attend your premises over one or more days to complete the audit.

Having an Accessibility Audit is one of the most effective ways to publicise an organisation’s welcoming and supportive attitude towards disabled people.

Our team will assess physical features like doorways and bathroom facilities against construction guidelines, to measure ease of access for disabled people.  They will also look at the daily working procedures of a disabled person and assess their suitability, using the insight of disability experts.

The Accessibility Audit concludes with a written report and a formal feedback session.  A debrief presentation of findings can also be arranged if desired.  Alternatively we can offer “Walk Through” audits.  These involve one or more of our Auditors attending a site and travelling through it with a member of your management team, discussing issues as they arise.

We can also audit your building, expansion or refurbishment plans to help you consider key accessibility issues in advance.

Elements of the report are suitable for publication in promotional materials and on social media.  Also, Live Inclusive is keen to promote businesses which demonstrate good practice regarding disability and equality.

Trusting Live Inclusive to carry out your Accessibility Audit means you will benefit from the knowledge and expertise gained from twenty years of experience as a disability organisation.  You will also be helping your local community by supporting an organisation with equality at the heart of everything it does.
