Since 1995, we’ve been working hand-in-hand with organisations and individuals across Doncaster and Rotherham to remove barriers for disabled people, from school leavers to older people, including those with hidden disabilities.
We work together with local authorities, the NHS and a wide range of support agencies to provide specialist services for disabled people. These include benefits advice, social prescribing, befriending, and providing information, advice and guidance (IAG). We also offer training and consultancy to a range of businesses on issues of access. These include the positive steps they can take to employ disabled people or to make their workplace accessible to disabled visitors.
Our friendly team of staff and enablers provide outreach services that give support, help reduce loneliness and offer a lifeline for many of our clients – their voice is at the heart of our service, priorities and objectives. We focus on the role that society needs to play to enable our clients to participate in daily life, and we’re passionate about supporting them to have choice and control in their lives.
